Last Club Walk
After a shaky start to the coach journey and a short stop at Golden
Acre, where Barry mended the fault with the coach, we continued to
Grassington for the planned walks. Upon arrival there was heavy mist.
The mist lasted most of the day giving damp walks with few of the great
views these walks would usually give. Later in the day the mist lifted a
little and the views and autumn colours could be seen.
After refreshments at local cafes, all walkers returned to the coach for
a smooth and uneventful journey back to Sherburn
There was a good turn out for this walk.
Thanks to the walk leaders for their efforts - Alan for the 'A' walk -
Pat Backhouse assisted by Dennis for the 'B' walk and Barbara for the
Thanks also to Carol, John and Alan for
