Last Club Walk
Lakes Weekend
Friday27th June to Monday 30th June
Another successful weekend at the
Derewentwater Hotel in the Lakes.
Thoroughly enjoyed by all who went- there
was something for all from bus rides around Buttermere, a short walk into
Keswick for coffee and cakes and of course A walks and B walks organised by
John and Christine.
Saturday was damp but still warm, Sunday was
glorious with clear blue skies, a slight breeze and a pleasant temperature
(about 200C) far cooler fortunately than the back in the heatwave
affecting Yorkshire.
A big thanks to John for arranging the trip and the A walks, also to
Christine for leading the B walks.
